This party was at the university, kind of reminded me of some high school dance that I missed out on. The DJs were DJing with winamp and the songs were not crossfaded in anyway. There was a lot of Beatles and Beach Boys and some other fun stuff played like “Have Love Will Travel” and some Kinks and then the music got more worldly and festive.

It’s kind of a college town nowadays (i think 20% of the population attends the university there), and I stayed with a nice college girl. They have a lake, a modern town and a fortified region of town (“old town”).

I ate a lot of croquettes and spanakopita, hung out with an awesome Finnish dude a few nights (who is friends of Max McCauley’s), and just kind of wandered around a good deal. I checked out some of the goth nights they have, which seemed to be more like hang-outs than dance-outs. Oh and I also ate a lot of pastries. Time to shed a few lbs!

The main part of it was closed, so didn’t get to see the theatre. We trespassed into the main closed part but we were caught very shortly after. Oh well! The trespassing was fun.
